PATNA: The seventh state level conference of the CPI-ML (Liberation) would be held at Aurangabad from October 4. The party has extended invitation to all left parties and Samajwadi party leaders to attend the open session of the two day conference.
Talking to reporters here on Friday, party''s state secretary Ram Jatan Sharma said at least 500 people including party delegates are expected to attend this conference.
Party''s general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya would inaugurate the conference.
Sharma also criticised the RJD supremo Lalu Prasad for protecting Deenanath Yadav, a RJD leader who was allegedly involved in the killing of five CPI-ML members at Paliganj recently. The suspension of Yadav from RJD is only an eyewash, said Sharma.
On the law and order situation, the party leader said that there has been a substantial increase in bank dacoities and kidnapping in the state. The party felt the urgent need for left confederation in order to free the state from the clutches of criminal-mafia nexus, Sharma added.
